I see the retail in the front. I guess what bothers me, but there's no solution for it given that the first floor of this building is essentially a covered parking garage, is that all of those roads from Harrison to Albany are long stretches of nothing. It would have been nice if there were individual residence entrances on the first floor or something that brought a little more life to the street.

I spent a lot of time over there when I lived and worked in the area, I just wish those streets could be made to feel less like alleys and more like a part of the neighborhood.

edit: I just noticed that parking is underground and not on the first floor.

It would nave been nice if each ground floor unit had their own entrances like that new building on Mass Ave.

This building's location might get us back to the South End. In Fall 2016? Or too aggressive a deadline?

Thanks for the pics Bee, the cathedral is being cleaned and it looks great! Pretty big difference from the black soot that was on there before

9+ months of construction and the ground floor isn't even completed, can't be normal

Suffolk, I've been thinking the same thing! Also worth noting that this project doesn't have a 'fixed' crane onsite. Seems to be contributing to the slowness of construction.
