Glad it is not a wood frame fire trap like so many "deluxe" apartment buildings.

Not to mention: I can't believe that those are particularly quiet buildings, either to inside or outside noise. Compare that to a house in Germany I stayed in recently. People on the top floor could hold a loud Schuhplattler party into the early hours, and anyone below them wouldn't hear a thing. And this is an average single family house on a middle class suburban street outside of Heidelberg.

This is referred to as South End "back streets," next to SoWa and down Harrison from New York Streets... Oy.

But yes, there's a tremendous amount of potential, with part of that potential equaling thousands of new residents.
