Didn't we have a poster at one point who lived in the Avalon tower. I'd love to see his view.
 
They look like iron-sash windows and seem to be the latest rage in our neighborhood's remodeling and new home construction. And yes, they're beautiful and expensive.
 
Has any steel been added to this over the last few weeks? It's impossible to tell now that the webcam is down. I thought they were supposed to continue directly into Phase 2, but that doesn't seem to be the case so far.
 
based on beeline's pics, it looks like the residential/phase 2 half of the podium has added a set back level (in the hotel area) and vertical steel around the perimeter.

the commercial/phase 3 half of the podium also appears to have added a set back floor.

i wonder if, post-storm, the phase 2 side's crane is dismantled and two new cranes are assembled in the 2 new locations

regardless, hopefully the webcam is reactivated

Wow...

You know that podium looks pretty good without a office tower on it lol.
 
Is that for real? If so it's official then, for Boston developments hideous is the new black.
