The Kensington | 665 Washington Street | Downtown

That's actually the best angle of the building that I have seen so far.

I like the orange. Might be the only thing I like, but it is something.

OK, I like the sign too.

Yes, too bad that the mind-numbing precast continues above the orange bands and sign for floor after floor after floor. What is really pathetic is that there are actually two different textures of precast used, but they are so boringly similar (and poor quality) that it just all blurs together.

That rooftop pool is going to feel a lot more closed in once 45 Stuart street is complete.

I am in the minority it seems and I probably have bad taste, but the glass section with the green spanrels is the best part of the building. I wish they covered the whole buildings in that up to the parapet because that grey top is awful, even worse than the pre-cast. On the lower levels, I would make the doorways to the retail spaces recessed and keep everything else the same.

Some interior shots, and a view from one of the higher floors. A friend of mine moved in a month or two ago and invited me up!

Part of the interior lounge on floor 6:

The obviously spent more on the insides than the outside. But that's where it really counts anyway.
