The dark horizontal slots are looking good - nicely breaks up the facade, making the blocks of different stripe patterns/colors pop.

Been a little while since I’ve seen the project from Prospect Hill. I must admit I find the lab’s mechanical penthouse to be less obnoxious than most around town. Its transparency makes it more dynamic in different light. Almost like a see-through shirt that may be worth a double take. Is that too far? Compare to the South St lab in the far left, which just reads as a flat grey metal shed wall. I mean no cares to give a second look at that.

The tower and lower building progressing nicely. The residential 5 over 1 portion looks a little "tacked on" sitting on top of the tower's garage. The design should have been a little more aggressive with this portion.

The lab building looking sleek all in black. Steel details at the void up top and the entry area should be interesting. The sidewalk is shaping up along Somerville Ave, should be open along that side before too long. I agree the penthouse seems to be proportionally large from afar but you don't feel it at the street level.

Side note, look what's happening at the back side along Allen Street. Houses going up for sale and others boarded up (already sold?) Hopefully the single family home lots are combined and formed into more T centric large mass housing.

Disagree. I hope those lots are densified, but not as a single landscraper.
