It could be DC, save for the old rehabbed factory buildings that add character to the Kendall Sq. area.Gawd, other than the Stata, that view looks like it could be Washington, DC. Thankfully, the Vegans are changing up the look!
I like to think about what this corner could be like in a few years if things are done right: At Broadway/Third they are supposed to be building a park. We've got this tower in the backdrop, and we'll have (hopefully) the taller of the Volpe towers as well. So it could create a Bryant Park (NYC)-like vibe. Here's to wishing for that.This has a pretty legit aspect ratio for a cambridge tower!
Yeah i was thinking the same when I saw it up close. The vertical elements running up the sides make it feel 500 feet instead of the current 400. I think the Proto building across the street (built in like 2018) does a good job with the same verticality.In person this feels much larger/taller than it looks from afar.
