Who Wants To Be... MAYOR!

Although I'm happy he's moving on, I do like Menino and I'm glad I was introduced to this picture today. (I'm a fellow drummer)

Haha, that's one of my favorite pix of him. I like him too. He truly cared so much for this city.

Not exactly his most flattering photo. He looks cockeyed.

He was a decent enough mayor I suppose but he long overstayed his welcome IMHO. Curious to see which swamp-thing will emerge victorious from the in-bred ooze that is Boston politics.

Pretty sure they don't design buildings or make the rules that regulate their development, though?

"Boston is the vibrant, welcoming, and world-class city it is today because of Tom Menino."

Exactly, any good emanating from Boston is all thanks to Menino.

This pretty much sums up Obama's weltanschauung: Any good manifested among a society or its plebes is thanks to the great strivings of the omniscient group of Leaders perched above the people and, unless the people are "extremists" who reject it, engineering their behaviors as much as possible. Can't wait for the day both Obama and Menino are out of office.

Pretty sure you cribbed this from the Onion doing Glenn Beck.

Not once she learns that she'll have to stand next to a tall opposing candidate.

So, when the Mayor goes, so goes Kairos Shen, undoubtedly, as well as a slew of other City Hall insiders.

You'll have a brand-new mayor and a brand-new director. Who leads whom? What happens? Anything?
