Def. But the condo association will hopefully write up condo docs that prohibit anything except of a certain color and style. Very common in the large buildings - Atelier 505 and Court Square Press, to name two.

I love the windows but looking at the pictures that Street looks like a massive wall of glass on a very tight street.

This could make that street a very cold feeling. "Permanent shadow"

^maybe during some summer days, but most of the time i would guess not.

At night, it's pretty great. I had drinks at the wine bar across the street a couple weeks ago, it gives it a very tight urban feel. Hopefully as the restaurants of temple and west street turn down washington as it finally fills in, you will have a nice 24/7 urban mixing or people and uses.

I'm very excited to visit in the fall and see the new developments that have popped up. This will be among the first I go to see...I remember always hating this empty lot and I'm so glad it's finally filled.

Ignore the provincial fools around here, Czervik. The sheer mention of NYC will get their panties all wadded up, and unfortunately this city breeds a lot of those types.

NYC does not suck, lived there for a while even though I am a Bostonian and have moved back for work. But to me at least, NY is so huge that a single building is not nearly as exciting as it is in Boston. That being said, comparing trends in building materials, windows etc. from any city including NY should be welcomed on this blog whether you like the style or not.

I, and perhaps others would offer a lot more positive criticism on this blog if there weren't so many negative, passive aggressive posts the second someone contributes to a discussion.

I don't think I'll ever like this building. It's great that they are finding buyers for the condominiums but it's an ugly building. And, I don't see how anyone could like living there. You're sandwiched in between other buildings so you have very little natural light. Oh, and there's the Silver Line buses - natural gas powered - that make a shrieking sound outside your window for 18 hours a day.

Anyway, the windows have a strange attractiveness to them, sort of the Matrix meets Longleat House.
