I couldn't give a shit about 1WTC's strap on horn.
I agree. If they were going to advertise 1 WTC as a 1,776 foot tower it should have been 1,776 feet to the roof.

Note that I don't think 45 Broad Street is u/c and it shouldn't be on the list.

this is huge news. The governor is throwing's her weight behind what used to be called the Triborough, now called the Interborough express because its only the parts in Brooklyn and Queens.

ALL ABOARD! Hochul Seeks Subway Between Bay Ridge and Jackson Heights
The State of the State address included a plan to turn rail right-of-way into the Interborough Express between Bay Ridge and Jackson Heights and intersecting with 17 subway lines and the LIRR.nyc.streetsblog.org
EDIT: Does this have a higher roof height than 1 WTC?? The original design had a nice cascading effect with the heights of the towers, and its lost here: 2 WTC takes the top of the hierarchy now...
"the highest point estimated to rise around the 1,350-foot-tall mark"
The twin towers were arguably the most iconic buildings in history.
That would look good with a spire on top, but it may look like its aping the Empire State Building too much if it did. In any case, I like the style.
The way that tower looms in person is something else. Pictures don't do it justice, you have to be there to see it. That being said, I captured a couple of shot when I was in nyc in March:
84 floors. 46 apartments. Has me feeling a certain sort of way.
