If only they could do this at the smaller triangular parcels by the Hynes off Boylston. Man those 2 parcels drive me nuts being open like that. How there hasn't been a developer that would just combine that with the garage that Kings/Bukowski is in and put a new city's tallest there is beyond me.

It's a good thing they named a street after him too, since this won't look much like a bridge in a couple of years.

I've never understood why they reverted to Jersey Street instead of extending "David Ortiz Way" past Fenway.

Last night, I went to a panel featuring John Rosenthal (the developer) and Scott Bosworth (Director of TOD at the T). Nice guys. It was at BU’s Initiative on Cities, they have speakers every few weeks or so. Rosenthal talked a bit about the history of Fenway Center and the 20+ years he's been working on it. According to them, this site had the most potential for life sciences in the whole US. Nothing else too interesting/revealing. The deck is expected to be finished by November with a 2026 opening.

It's a pretty major addition. Hopefully will look nice from afar, and hopefully will be nice at the street level, but just the act of filling in this space ought to be hugely influential to this area.
