I'm not huge on the Intercontinental either Joe, but considering the alternative (it's wrapped around a vent building), I give it a pass.

I didn't realize it, but the brick section at the back is going to be all garage! The floor structures seen through the empty window frames are all inclined.

The garage is 100% below grade. Take another look through those windows in the brick section; your eyes have deceived you.

been trying to get this shot from 93 south for months always blurry

I am referring to the red brick rear section, not the front. I hope someone else will check this out before I make my appointment for the eye doctor!

Agreed. I also preferred the more High-Tech version of the tower, with the V-braces over the brick podium.

Same here, though the BRA has essentially come out and said they only want boring buildings near the Greenway so we're lucky to get this.

I really like the 1950s-ish curtain wall. I'd be happier if the glass weren't so green, but I'm certainly not going to complain about it. After so many years of watching architects try so hard to get away from that style, it's nice to see it embraced once more.

You didn't in the Fan Pier renderings either, but look what happened. I was expecting something along the lines of 7 World Trade Center as far as the glass was concerned. My mistake for trusting a rendering that makes the Intercontinental Hotel look like it has a giant wall of white Alucobond.

I liked the v-braces and the "structural" elements going up as the crown, but that building looked very chubby.

The renderings for 45 Province showed a clear glass instead of green as well. Someone in the BRA must like green glass. I know I don't.
