Should this project, and a couple of others, be moved to existing development? It's 100% finished and has been for a few months

I was staring at the "crown" of this earlier today. It might be the most shameful thing built in the city in a long time. The whole building looks incredibly cheap, but the crown is beyond pathetic.

You know, I don't think it's interesting enough to be as offensive as everyone seems to claim. Lacking any contribution to the architectural scene, sure. Shameful? Probably not. It would have to make a statement to be ashamed of itself.

It's so easy to forget now that this stood as a parking lot to an adjacent Hard Rock Cafe for so many years. It may make a minor impression on the skyline (although the Dartmouth St South End view was the best I've seen), but as ablarc has noted, this works pretty well at the pedestrian level along Stuart St.

i like this building a lot its really unique its brick and it lights up at night not much more u can ask for in boston

I don't know, when I took that picture, the portico looked pretty damn foreboding. Not a soul on that side of the street, albeit was a Saturday morning.

thanks I've always liked this shot from the pike!

I love this building the john hancock needs some company to show its height. To anyone who thinks its ugly just imagine if 45 province was built in its place, yuuuuuck.

If not for the damned crown I'd probably love it.

That building looks absolutely ridiculous near the Hancock Tower. It's actually embarassing. I'm not trying to get on a taller is better kick but a taller and wider non brick building could have looked amazing there. It looks like a trailer parked next to a mansion. How can Boston get it so much so wrong?

Look at the photo on page 51. It just doesn't fit. I hope there's a structural problem and they have to tear it down. Let Trump take over!
