🔹 What's Happening With Project X?

Probably because the new one clashes with the rest of the building's architecture and looks a bit tacked on.

Not happening. At least not in Boston.

Will 122 seaport be done in time for that move?

They'd be great for Tremont Crossing if it was going to be done by then. Also, hate to sound like Rifleman, but WTF?

John Barros, the city’s economic development chief, said the company hasn’t yet discussed the possibility of a property tax break, but city officials haven’t ruled one out.

Why in the world would you offer them a tax break? Why would you even bring that up? This company is laying off 150 MA workers and running to Boston with its tail between its legs, a move it's already announced! You have them in the bag! Why would you give them a dime?

it's hard to tell them the truth...

(that we have to build sixty Tremont Crossing towers) + all the infill and lux highrises.

With Copley Tower on hiatus, it would be cool to see the resident tower rise right along with the podium steel, or shortly after.

Any word on the Kendall Constellation Center? (lol)

Cambridge City Council is scheduled to ask about it (hopefully including the "lol") - it wasn't removed from the agenda as the new city manager comes in.

An effort to empty the City Council’s “awaiting reports” list for a just-appointed city manager failed Monday on a 2-7 vote.

That means that many of the nearly 60 items sent to purgatory when he was promoted were things he may well have been already involved in. They included everything from asking whatever happened to the long-promised ConstellationCenter in Kendall Square to a bid to ban big trucks from the city...
