I'm guessing it's the fact that Wacker Drive is built along water, and that, ironically, since it's on land and should be inviting parkland, the Greenway is just as devoid of people as the surface of the Chicago River.
Thanks to you both KZ and Boston 02124 for sharing your wonderful pictures. It almost looks like the spire section on the front of the building is slanting in from the bottom up. If it is, I suppose it will match the slant on the back of the building, but maybe it's just the way I'm looking at at.
Nice shots .. love how you can see the islands in the background. Wish it were 10-15 stories higher though ... the relationship to the base makes it look a little stocky.
ngb_anim8 Great shots, thanks. One can really see the islands in the harbor. Those islands would be ideal for hotels, casinos, clubs, restaurants, etc. Maybe one day.
I actually took all of the pics from common areas on 34 & 35. Some of the conference rooms had similar views. I think all of the "offices" were actually one floor down.
