This building looks awesome from the west. You can see it clearly from the Mass Pike and from Commonwealth at Kenmore. The double height windows really stand out.

@KZ - I like how you pictures start from a distance and end up basically in the building. :)

Hilarious. Sad, but true.

That 3 Columbus Circle sort of reminds me of this:

Thanks! That's simply a byproduct of me liking to post my pictures in chronological order.

I've said it before, and i will say it again. I love glass curtain walls with operable windows.

Re: Avalon Exeter (formerly New Tower(s) Planned For Prudential Center)

Does anyone know if there's going to be any lighting on this one while finished? I'd love the top tier of glass to be lit in a blue.

Thanks for all the updates kz. This set in particular shows some excellent views of a great looking building!

I'm just gonna say it: this building should've been at least two times taller. The design would've worked just as well (if not better) and it would've made an even more impressive statement for the Back Bay.

In any case, I still love looking at it everyday.

What time of day? That just sounds like masochism!

Haha, drove up to Haverhill around 11 am and back down around 3. We hit the beginning of rush hour traffic on the way back but it wasn't horrible just yet.

This building is a HUGE addition to one of the weak points in our skyline. Then throw in Liberty Mutual a few blocks farther down the street and we struck gold. I like how it adds the blue glass to this dull area to compliment the Hancock while also blending into the other grey buildings around it.

A few days old, but they've started the top rows of glazing:

Just as the Liberty Mutual Hq -- it should have been +10 stories
