Man, these guys are flying along with this one. Maybe we can all pitch in and send enough material to slap on another 10 stories. They are working so quickly, they wouldn't even notice until it was too late.

You realize this building broke ground two months before The Kensington and 3 months before Millennium Place, which are both completed and occupied?

Those pictures are gorgeous, kz.

A few from a bit closer up, taken over the past week.

The base is coming together.

I'm loving the glass facade facing Cambridge. I'm probably biased since that's my most common view of the Back Bay skyline but it's about time we got something sleek and modern looking in there.

it plays well with 111 and the Hancock as well, just wish it was taller

For some reason, I feel like this tower is really unnoticeable (not because of the design but because it seems like I never notice it's there). It's a great addition nevertheless.

Gotta say guys, we've got a hell of a group of photographers on this site. Thanks for all the great shots.

why are there white panels instead of 2 (Seemingly random) windows? i can never unnotice this now.

They are most likely broken windows that will be replaced later.

Nice Boston Globe shot of the almost complete Avalon Exeter at the duck boat parade:

I really like the way this building is shaping up.

I feel like most buildings in boston that have the precast stop before a glass finish only have 2 stories and it makes the building look squat (the State Street tower at One Lincoln gives me this thought every time). This has the ~5 stories of glass and the lines adding the vertical and it makes a huge difference imho.
