This glass looks a lot lighter than the renders indicated - not a bad thing, IMO.

How do people feel about the silver outlining seen surrounding some of the larger stretches of glass?

It's going slowly, but it has been moving. The glass facade has been dragging, so perhaps they're waiting on a shipment.

I wonder if getting rid of the crane early was a cost saving move.

top lit?? are those lights? :)

The glass is really helping tie this thing together to take away from the mass of precast. Cant wait to see how the other side comes together because theres a lot of glass about to go up.

I have to say I always thought this would be a huge turd but it has turned out really nicely. It, somehow, has good vertical lines. The glass certainly helps.

Are the "balconies" temporary? I would have thought that most of them would have been removed by now if they were. Nonethess this really turned out well, and it will look good with its new brothers and sisters soon.

I've liked this design since inception, and bike past it daily so have enjoyed its progress.

However, I'm concerned that the panels around the crown display too much dead space (particularly when viewing from E and W). Accent lighting might allay my concerns at night, but I wonder about top heaviness during the day.
