Boston Skyline Photos

Where are the newer buildings?

Oh, I thought those buildings in the foreground were generally older than the skyscrapers in the background, making the skyscrapers "newer". I didn't know all those buildings were built at the same time. Thanks!

The ones in the foreground are much older, people are just lamenting that the towers in the back are a few decades old at this point.

That pomo addition to the building on the left with the subway is just a crime though.

I'm pretty sure Gooseberry was being facetious with the later post. And if so, I agree with the sentiment.

Wish my phone had a better camera...

Never has a shot more cried out for Copley Place.

^Agreed.

If Copley Place and the Christian Science towers get built, the Back Bay skyline is going to have some incredible symmetry from that angle.

Guys some amazing shots, love the reflections off the water.

What is up with Atlantic Wharf with the bright white cap. Can the change the lighting like a soothing light blue or red tone like the Zakim bridge.

It looks like it's from from the same area as some of my recent shots, particularly this one, which is from Summer Street near the convention center in South Boston.

Love that shot, BeeLine. Where'd you take that?

DZ the right church, but wrong pew. I was standing on World Trade Ctr. Ave (South Boston) a third of way between Summer Str. and the Silverline MBTA station.

That's Russia Wharf, is it not?

What an awesome vantage point of the skyline. Nice shots!
