Boston Skyline Photos

Whenever I've been to Piers Park, I admit I've always taken a car as well. Even just this past Saturday, in fact.

East Boston is simply awesome, but it also feels downright isolated and alone.

It would be decent walk in good weather, absolutely, but I'm probably off somewhere with better access and even more to do/more attractive to recreation.

Sweet!....do you have a friend at the Custom House? or is there a viewing area?

The Custom House allows the public up to their observation deck at 2:00 pm on weekdays, if I remember correctly. It's 4 dollars to get up.

Brandeis? From the castle?
It is from Nolan's Trail at Horn Pond, but apparently I need to go check out that castle at Brandeis.

These 2 are from Prospect Hill, Somerville.

The mix of old and newer buildings and the perspective on that first picture is really nice.

Where are the newer buildings?

Thanks for saying it. It's how I have felt for years when I look at the skyline. I mean sure, we have a bunch of new clutter in random places, but it's been years since we got some more meat 'n potatoes, and I for one am a little tired of being fed side salads with soggy bread being passed off as entrees.

Boston02124, regarding your first picture, I noticed what looks like newly planted trees on Broad Street. I think that Broad Street, as the first street in the Crossroads Initiative, was supposed to have been completed at the end of last year. Can you confirm its completion and did you happen to take pictures looking down the street?

the trees were new I was walking towards State st so I didnt take any pics of Broad st

You'd be better off hoping for reclads than additions to that view.
