BU Development Thread

Thats false, the dining halls accept cash and you dont need to be a student to eat there.

The union admits non-students and accepts cash; the campus dining halls do not admit non-students (unless the person is a guest of a BU student).

Unless thats a new policy....they do.

Previously, Shelton and West Campus allowed non students because you didnt have to swipe to get to them, and they took cash. No ID required.

You just went to the cash register, told them you were paying cash, they did the transaction, and you were inside.

BU never asks for ID for anything except getting into residential areas, which those two dining halls were outside of.

Seriously, it's 2012. Integrated technology is here to stay. Get over it.

BU has the money to blow. Let 'em blow it.

I did enjoy the photo tour though. Thank you.

Then why don't they reduce tuition?

Or subsidize student MBTA passes which they claim they cannot do because it would hurt too many peoples' tuition?

BU --> sucks.

I hear tuition at UMass Boston is a lot cheaper than BU.

Ah, I spent many a night in the basement of the Beta Theta Pi house next door.... those MIT kids are wicked dorky (made my job of meeting girls all the easier) but they know how to throw a party and they REALLY know how to mess themselves up.

Admissions Center renovation / expansion underway. I was worried that the removal of foliage and tree cover would have a negative impact on this area. In reality, it brings this building out from the shadows:

Small addition on the Storrow Drive side:

Law School Expansion - foundation construction continues (should go vertical by June):

I must've walked under that passageway at marsh 200 times and never bothered to look up. Are those blue/green tiles new or have they always been there? Really fit well there.

Stumbled across these the other day
