Think James Bond in "Diamonds are Forever" showing up in a Las Vegas casino in his white dinner jacket, and being looked at like he had just come in from Mars. Natalie Wood's sister plays casino hustler "Plenty O'Toole" -no doubt named after your father, says James. Plenty exclaims "I like you Peter Franks (Bond's alias), even if you are kind of weird."

Think Frank Sinatra singing George Harrison's "Something".

Yes, but Bostonians sometimes like to affiliate ourselves closer to our European cousins than to our American brothers & sisters.

Europe would never spend 20 billion dollars on an underground highway through the central of a city.

At the risk of someone pointing out someplace that got the shit bombed out of it by the RAF, USAAF, Luftwaffe, Regia Aeronautica or Red Airforce, and then got a downtown highway in the reconstruction, most European cities probably wouldn't have built an elevated highway right through the middle of the city that later needed burying.

Train tracks, yah, maybe.

Yes we did good burying the highway. Doesn't have much to do with the tacky casino, though.

I sincerely hope that there will be 24-hour security there & at the one in Springfield!! After all, terrorists wouldn't want to pass up the evil thought of secretly attacking the place & snuffing out tons of innocent people!! :eek:

The glass is coming up so fast that I'd believed that the top had to be basically done, but now we learn there are 6 more floors yet to be poured before topping off? Wow.
