Im all for this new trend. 115 fed wont have it on the main tower, but the shorter part of the tower on the back of the T will have it. Id love to see a new style in the 21st century that is being built on on modern towers that is unique to Boston and an architectural style that when people see it they think of Boston.

The curve of the encore roof line reminds me a bit of what is intended for the One Congress project at Bullfinch crossing.

Skyline wise I am most excited about the One Congress St crown (and hoping that actually happens and hoping it goes a bit taller to stand out further from the residential tower at Bullfinch crossing).

I just noticed yesterday you can see this from the pike by BU. If it was 10 stories taller it would have been clear as day from that distance, but right now theres like a gap where you can see it for a little bit, pretty cool.
 
The backside of the swoosh now has the cladding applied. You can see it from Route 16.

Post 1582 as well. The thing I like about the Wynn towers is that theyre not a blatently Vegas-y design. Kind of like city center. They definitely have some elements.. very wide, bronze facade, but the older version of this tower absolutely screamed retro crappy Vegas tower. When you look at the Trump, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, Delano, Venetian, Mirage-my favorite hotel there, those are blatently Las Vegas. This fits much better outside the strip as its more of a modern glass curtain wall tower, athough wide. The older version of this was SOOO bad thank god we got this.

The design we got is a classy bronze tower with an elegant curve and capped with a nicely swept roof. Imagine this thing on the skyline. What we got enhances the area-yes easy to do, but this idk.

Oh yea and the high speed water shuttle from here to Rowes wharf immediately adds hotel rooms to Boston. Whatever your here for you could stay here n enjoy the percs of a luxury casino while still being downtown in 10 mins. Plus when everythings booked your not gonna find better rooms than this outside the city with that fast of transit to downtown either.

So they're marketing in force now. I got a hat and am registered with an Inaugural Member Red Card (which strangely still says "Wynn Boston Harbor."). Both of these are great because I will never wear the hat and I absolutely hate gambling. But... it's free. They were at Night Shift Brewing last night - which is both a great place to get views of the casino from the patio AND for planespotting (saw the SAS A340 depart, and the LH 747-8).
 
I signed up for the card a while back. They keep telling me that if I will only book a trip to Vegas they'll give me a free dinner.

Monsanto just lost a huge lawsuit for 289 Million finally proving that Roundup actually causes cancer. --This guy will never see that money in his lifetime.--
Just curious how the FDA could allow for this product to be approved without proper testing and be buried in our crops.

Very sinister that our elected leaders and Govt agencies allowed this company to do this to the American People. Like guinea pigs being tested on.

A lot of people in Everett in the Village area got Cancer back when Monsanto was located back in the 70's-80's

What do you mean how this was approved, or how they let this happen?

DDT was a godsend, kids used to chase the truck down the street and dance in the mist.
Asbestos was the bees knees.

Hindsight is always 20/20.
Looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.

Isn't that the reason why we fund these GOVT agencies like the FDA, EPA with annual budgets that run around 5.1 Billion dollars a year to prevent the mass murdering of innocent civilians from these corporations?

I don't blame Monsanto I blame Federal and State Govt's for allowing this type of action.

This is disturbing at all levels of morality. Govt is clearly the problem they are intertwined with corporations at this point.

So when someone goes and shoots up a school, it's also the government's fault for not having stricter gun control... right? Don't blame the shooter, blame the government.
