Encore Boston Harbor Casino | 1 Broadway | Everett

amazing how much work is still left to be done in the next 8-9 months. But if I were ever to bet on a construction schedule, it would be this one!

It looks like it's further along than you might think according to the Las Vegas Review Journal's latest article.

Nice view. It especially will be from the higher floors. The casino itself is focused on providing a luxurious experience to the customers and a nice view adds to that. You can make the nicest decorated hotel rooms on earth but if the view out the window isnt great it doesnt matter. It works the other way too a basic room with an incredible view brings it up another level. This view definitely adds to the experience of the casino when you get done gambling and go up to your room the view out the window brings a whole other experience to your stay. This view definitely makes the rooms special that they can see the entire skyline, zakim, bunker hill monument, garden...etc.

It does appear from the photo, at least that a lot of the city facing rooms will look at the power plant. That said, I would not be staying there for the view.

Doesn't the other side have decent ocean views?

Yea Im just saying the over the top luxury along with skyline views is a pretty nice combo. Either on their own is great but both combined is wonderful.

Looks like Popeye hasn't arrived yet. He must still be gambling in Las Vegas.

Well. the building isn't finished yet. Then he'll move in. Hah!!

Mega update, last one of these well ever need before its wrapped up and finished. Enjoy!

One thing we've all been waiting for. The water taxis!! So now we can see the seating is down in the bow of the taxi. Its pretty badass that they made them low to the water so they can make it under all of the draw bridges without stopping, slowing down, or waiting. This allows them to go fast on an uninterrupted trip from the waterfront. That will make this a pretty quick trip. Also the draft does not go too far under the water line either for getting into the mini Encore harbor. They are going to dredge in front of the casino because it goes damn near dry during low tide, but this will help too. Shows room for 14 people on the front but then theres also room up on the deck in the back too it appears. If you look through the door you can see a few more back there. The taxi says Encore on the side too in copper, nice lil touch. Pretty badass that you can take a commuter rail to South Station and walk right over to Rowe's Wharf, hop on one of these, and get to the casino. Yet another reason why they need the N-S link, add this one to the ever-growing list of reasons why... Walking from North Station wouldn't be too bad, in perfect weather, but its not ideal either, especially in bad weather, or for older people, disabled people...etc. In spring or fall weather it would be nice walking along side the greenway... but this shouldn't be the only option. Maybe if your coming in from the north you could get in at North Station and then take the Orange line up to Assembly. Then from there you can take an Uber from Assembly over to Encore on a very quick trip. Or an Uber from North Station to the water taxi.

This really shows it in relation to the skyline. Going to be great views for the hotel guests. A good view is priceless, that on top of how luxurious this hotel is its going to be amazing. Looking out the window at nothing but smoke stacks, trees, and random houses and shit would have been trash. Instead this may be one of the better views from anywhere not directly in the city or Cambridge. Shit being outside the city can be better anyways because you get to see the whole city vs being within it. Going to be absolutely badass and the definition of luxurious living.

I've never seen the inside of the Wynn hotels in Vegas, but this looks a lot like the Bellagio inside.

I've never seen the inside of the Wynn hotels in Vegas, but this looks a lot like the Bellagio inside.

Parts of it are a carbon copy of the Wynn in Vegas and other parts are unique. For example the hallway rendering is basically a copy/paste from the Vegas casino, while the main entrance with the curving escalators is unique from what I can tell. Though the more I think about it the more it reminds me of the Parasol Down bar from the Vegas casino.

I agree they do both look similar to the Bellagio, though.

Yea the staircase and other things are gonna be unique because its been designed so unlike Vegas, you dont have to see any slot machines or gambling if u dont wanna. I wonder why there was a big emphasis on that here though, because what would other people be going to do in a casino? I like that idea, but what are they talking about, the hotel? Or maybe the Luis Vuitton stores n all those designer shops that are going in here. Anyways I haaaaated that about Vegas how to get to anyything they always put it in the back so you have to walk by allllll the slot machines to get there. So I salute them for that here when Wynn was still on he said that was designed. I bet in Vegas its because people are walking through all the casinos n u need a way to get them to spend at yours, whereas here youre at the only one around there isnt one next door so theyre gonna gamble or their not, and I bet theyre gonna try to get rich people coming into town to use this as their hotel. You can live in absolute luxury, have fun gambling and other things going on, then its a 10 min water taxi to rowes wharf.

Some of the inside pictures of the encore resort up above looks like the scenes out of the movie Big Trouble in Little China.

You see luxury Stick, I see tacky. It's probably too late to lament the fact that what passes for luxe is what normal people imagine rich people live like. Put my grave next to Adolf Loos's so we can roll together.
