Fort Point Infill and Small Developments

Postal service won't move - not from South Station and not from A Street. Not without extorting something very very hefty in return.

I also didn't realize the end goal is to bring the post office to E street... I still feel that's squatting on what will in the next decade be the next frontier of seaport development. Isn't there a better place for this perhaps closer to the airport?

Lets build the N-S Link, that will take care of extra capacity at South Station!

Problem with using the original fixtures and lighting..... they burn out too quick and too often.

Look fantastic when all are working.

at 1st I thought it was a new company called In trail Real Est then realize the bulbs were out lol

I was thinking...hmm who is the realest in trial, Boston Wharf Company. Lol!

havent seen this posted... new project

these are legit super-lux, sounds like:

Facial and thumbprint recognition technology just to enter the building. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows and direct elevator access. A customized, automated smart-home system that controls everything from blinds to music.

Those are just a few of the many amenities listed at 10 Farnsworth, an ultra-luxury boutique condominium development that's set to be built early next year in Boston's Fort Point neighborhood.

The price for those super high-end units A cool $3 million for one of eight 2,100-square-foot units to $7 million for the 4,300-square-foot penthouse.

That's gonna work so well when you're going on vacation and you need your friend to feed the cat and water the plants.

now i see why i couldnt find it; it was just called 338 congress then and not 10 farnsworth. was kind of surprised to not see it here already since it's a pretty snazzy lookin structure.

Very nice. I like where this is going.

Ps. It will extend my commute from the parking garage to the children's museum by the time it would take to cut through the parking lot. I guess I will go to the public hearing and complain.

Pps. I am going to guess there is not going to be any complaints about it being a squat stub. I wonder why?

It's squat, sure, but it looks like it'll be right in line with it's neighbors. I've always liked the scale of this part of congress street and I'm happy to see one of the few missing pieces get filled in.

Now they just need to relocate the electrical gear across the street and fill in the lot. Be a nice continuous cohesive streetwall then. Oh, yeah and the parking lot next to the blue wave, or whatever it is now.

I've thought the same about that location. I wonder if they could just build above and around the electrical gear?

The place next door to that electric equipment - the one with Trillium and the small market - isn't much to right home about, but it houses a lot of artists' spaces and small businesses. I kinda figured that would get bought and someone would combine that space with the lot with all the electric equipment next door to do something of a scale that would make moving the electric equipment worthwhile.

Yup ... right on the nose. Everything in its context ... unless it is truly a cathedral.
