Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Nice view, from Fenway concessions?

That strikes me as a good guess... and that view happens to be due east fwiw. There's another very similar view from floor 3 or 4 of the MFA, but that one happens to be due northeast, fwiw.

I keep forgetting to mention this, but the granite facade is finally being installed around the base. I pass by on the bus and can't get a good picture.

Taking a bus in Thursday...

Wow, that looks so sleek. If my count is correct, that's still got another ~15 stories to go, right?

I don't think it is that many, is it? I was thinking closer to 9 left.

January-March 2018 Progress

Thursday, May 3, 2018

During the past three months, we finally have moved past the complicated structural belt truss structural system and have poured concrete for levels 29-48. Curtainwall installation has been completed up to level 29 and continues to wrap the building at a steady pace. The ground level exterior granite facade begun and continues to be installed on the podium facade around the curtainwall. Almost all the steel canopy outriggers are in place. The exterior hoist is now running up to level 40. The drywall/finishes have progressed up to level 18 in the hotel. Service elevators fronts and cabs have been installed. MEP rough in has progressed from the hotel floors to the residential floors up to level 28. Testing on level 25 MEP equipment is in process.

The next 3 months include the following activities:
  • Concrete Structure – Level 49-61
  • Hoist access – Up to Level 55
  • Curtainwall – Up to Level 41
  • Core Elevators – Railings installed to Level 52
  • Exterior facade stone continue installation
  • GAS and DAS Utilities into the building
  • 1st and 2nd MEP Floor Rough progressing
  • MEP Rough in – Up to Level 36 (Residential)
  • Drywall/Finishes – Up to Level 27 (Hotel)
  • Elevator Lobbies Rough and Finishes to level 24
  • B2 NSTAR Room Energization Complete
  • B2 Kitchen Complete

Here's a fun question... How many floors did they end up skipping? I am assuming that the 61 would NOT be to the top screen, and come in about 2 floors below (end of the concrete pouring).

I also believe there are 59 total windows, where the transitional mech screens are at window 21. Given that, it looks like the main pour is up to about window 46/59. I have some pics from yesterday which I'll post later that might be clearer to count.
