Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Jesus, this is an architecture board, not a competition to see who can be the biggest asshole.

This will be the third tallest building in Boston and New England, upon completion, as well as the tallest hotel/residential building. It will also be the tallest building completed in Boston, and New England, since 1976. Amazing that there isn't that much publicity surrounding its construction.

Some pretty interesting facts: currently, nobody in Boston lives in a skyscraper (500+ feet). The first people to move into this building, will be the first people in Boston living in a skyscraper. Kind of sad to think about, but exciting at the same time.

Presently, the tallest building in Boston with a hotel component is the Custom House Tower (496 feet), and the tallest with a residential component is Millenium Place 1 (The Ritz, 475 feet).

I am not someone who cares very much about height, but with the height comes the fact that this building brings 200 new hotel rooms and 180 much needed condos. So, yeah, that's the building that this thread should be devoted to.

Well except for Millennium Tower, which will finish and move in first. But I get your point.

generally repulsive women = none of them would sleep with me.

Uh, not quite.

You're right, my bad. Someone who trolls an architecture site gets a lot of women. If you were lovin' life, you wouldn't be here or the other sites you troll on.

Uh, not quite.

Looking at the other cities on that list, it's not the kind of company Boston should aspire to keep.

I feel like DC, Chicago, and San Francisco are fairly good company for Boston to be in. But this is off topic so I'll just leave it at that.

Do we know if the groundwork at the site has resumed yet following all of the snow?

Nice! I'm glad they are finally moving along with this.

If you can find a YouTube of the start of the Patriots Rolling Rally when they were just departing in the Duck Boats from the Pru -- there are some great aerial shots of this and the Boylston @ Pru construction sites from the News Helicopters

You can easily fit 6 or more units on a floor. I did this at lunch for fun... Cambridge 7/Pei Asso... give me a call if you want... ;-)

Let me stress, this is totally my creation and not official floor plans.

Here's the CAD file if anyone wants to play with it (saved down to 2010):
