^i respectfully disagree. The Copley tower would have done nothing to improve the street level experience in Boston. Bulfinch Crossing gets rid of an eyesore of a garage that has blighted a neighborhood. In the seaport a new neighborhood is being built. In North Station empty lots are being converted into new housing and adding life to the area. Millennium Tower took a hole in the ground and turned it into one of Bostons most recognizable structures. The Winthrop square millennium tower will turn a blighted garage into one of the tallest buildings in the city. All of these projects have a greater positive impact on the city than the Copley tower ever will.
And don't even get me started on air right developments. Those have the potential to sew up a scar that has long separated some of Boston's greatest neighborhoods.
