I can't believe this suburban bullshit is being built in the middle of the city

It's the remote frontier--rained on by grimy, jet-wash-stained fog & drizzle.
 
1. Those renders from inside the lab are in no way taken from a 3rd floor lab - more like 23rd floor.

2. Of years working in life science, I have never seen such a spacious, uncluttered lab. Usually, looks like an episode of Hoarders

3. That cladding is straight New England Brickmasters
 
Saw this in person. Not very impressive. I thought there would be a wayyyyy more glass.

This part of the city should have been mostly housing, retail and entertainment being on the waterfront.

What a disgrace. The fact the taxpayers funded this garbage on priceless prime property.

You have WYNN investing in everything in Everett in and around the casino setting his own vision.

I actually think the taxpayers could help him out with better infrastructure ideas and the clean up of Mystic & Malden River.
 
^ could not agree more. Every time I go down there I am amazed at the amount of undeveloped land that sits on the waterfront. There are some massive parcels that are wastelands at this point. The city/Massport should change the zoning to add some mixed use here. Its a huge miss if they don't.

At this point I would like to see Massport investigated and audited at this point. I have been hearing too many stories about this corrupt agency which has unlimited power on this land.

They should be forced to send this property up for BID into the private industry hands. (Invest that money into better infrastructure into the area)

4 stories and a parking lot? There is a developer in Burlington that has just reported he is missing an office park. Maybe this one got lost on 128 and ended up here?

Being that close to the jet wake is going to be a tough sell I would think. Biotech might be the best bet.
