Since we so rarely get buildings this tall I wonder how high the cranes can go? I've seen pictures of the supertalls with the cranes on top of the building instead of anchored on the ground. Is there a hard and fast ceiling as to high they can go or does it depend?

Question: any way to capture King's Chapel and this tower in a single shot? I haven't seen one yet. Not sure if the angles match up.

I suspect 45 Province is right in the line of sight. Could be a challenge.

S&F Concrete has announced that TOPPING OUT WILL OCCUR MID-SEPTEMBER.

They also indicated that it's 55 stories, not 56. So, based on a building height of 625, we should be breaking the 600 foot barrier soon, if not already (not sure if they've moved to 53 yet). Looks >600 feet altitude wise already.

Would it be safe to assume that the mechanical penthouse and crown will be some sort of steel frame construction? Perhaps something similar to the top of One57 in NYC?

so is it the mechanicals that bring it to 685 feet?

I would assume the mechanicals are steel based on construction on concrete buildings in SF they have all used steel for mechanical levels on top.

Money -- there is a camera atop One Financial Center @ 600 ft.

WCVB's CityCam is located atop One Financial Center in Boston. The camera can rotate 360 degrees and zoom in or out. This image is updated approximately every minute. During inclement weather, the image may be entirely white (or black) and the camera is sometimes pointed in odd directions. The transmission line is also used for other purposes during the day, so you may see other images (or nothing at all) from time to time.
