MIT New 450-bed Residence Hall | 121 Vassar St. | Cambridge

The massing has potential, but... Im very interested to see how this turns out. Im going to be rooting for this.. while looking on skeptically.

Its going to go 1 of 2 ways. Its either going to look like a massive blob of vast mediocrity, or its going to be surprisingly good considering... The materials will make or break this. The renders really just show the 2 colors, but the texture and how that texture brings out the colors is going to matter a lot. Well shall see...
 
Sorry, but this is a deadly, industrial building fit more for science experiments in post WWII colleges like Boston University.

Edit: Looking again I realized the ugly side is the side facing RR tracks and the unfinished side seems to be the public side. I will also hold off a bit........
