Yup, this is exactly the point when it comes to graphic design. Graphic design is not like architectural design or art, there is no room for double readings or personal interpretation. If your branding is fractured because on first glance someone see something unintended, than you must go back to the drawing board. It is probably not a bit fix. Just put a vertical line between the "the" and the C to make a stronger implication of an "I".

^or, they could call it, simply, "Icon". Although personally, I detest the trend of the last many years where buildings' names consist of nouns without definite articles, suggestive of nightclubs. Adding that definite article makes the name so much more stately.

This one definitely was quick. The BRA is approving projects at a rate of double the speed of last year according to Director Golden last night.

Please teach me more about Philly's boom. Last time I visited there were huge swaths of abandoned buildings everywhere, and I doubt that's changed much.
