I am usually very skeptical when it comes to these things but I am going to go out and limb and say this one gets going in early 2015.
Look like BosDev called it!
what's that expression about even a broken clock being accurate twice a day....?
You pretty much got it. Of course, they are only talking about the old school type clocks being stopped, stuck at the same time, hence the twice a day thing. If it's a broken digital clock, it would be accurate 0 times a day. If it's an old clock that runs fast, it again might not be accurate at all on any given day.
And if the clock reads a forum post but misses the ellipses and smiley indicating sarcasm, then it might answer a rhetorical question.

Thanks Whig for making virtually the exact same point DZ made but 4 hours later and less concisely. Your streak remains intact (not withstanding the lack of Wikipedia references that could further derail the thread) .

Does anyone have any history of what happened to the application for demolition? Not seeing much on boston.gov or any news source.
Have not seen any movement on this, and know someone involved in the investment that claims "it's still going up." Snarled in bureaucracy indeed.
Description:
40 Trinity Place is a proposed 31-story building with approximately 154 hotel rooms, approximately 146 residential units, and ground floor restaurant/retail space.
This meeting is to discuss the proposed Notice of Project Change related to: (1) moving the parking off-site, (2) decreasing the number of hotel rooms to add additional ownership opportunity, and (3) modifications to the inclusionary development program.
Please note that the purpose of this meeting is different than that of a traditional community meeting. As part of the development review process, Impact Advisory Group (IAG) members work closely with BRA staff to identify the impacts of a project and recommend appropriate community benefits to offset those impacts. IAG meetings prioritize discussion between the project proponent (i.e. the developer) and IAG members. If time remains at the end of the meeting, BRA staff will open the floor to other community members in attendance.
