I think the Greenway would be better shaped by letting free capitalism takeover the direction of the park. Government intervention seems to be holding this park from really blossoming. The problem here is the greedy politicans are looking for handouts and private institutions are having a tough time to even consider investing in this area. The greenway should have already been booming this summer and investments soaring into this area. Then we should be on concentrating on Fan Pier and the Seaport District.
The big dig costs ran around 15 Billion and a killed drive by pedestrian that will end up costing the tax payers another 100 million.
The park should be left alone for private investments and let the Greenway Group guide the park into the 21st century.
