Residents who move into one of the new luxury developments in South Boston will have a local watering hole to call their own, with a menu from chef Keenan Langlois (the Sinclair). Publico Street Bistro is on track to open in January just north of Broadway, on the ground level of Allure at 11 Dorchester.
Not sure where to put this but zoning is being overhauled in South Boston... https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2017/01/06/new-south-boston-zoning-could-mean-more-parking-and-slow-down-development/UWzabAhR6alz626lDjQe9N/story.html
I feel like this is a political maneuver by the Mayor to secure Southie political support in the upcoming mayoral race. He'll be able to sell those old Southie voters on how he is working to prevent their neighborhood from being overrun by the damn tech-bro's and yuppies.
Shell station at 302 W Broadway is gone. Anyone know what will replace it?
^^ Almost. 150 W Broadway (replaced garage and used car lot on the corner) and 170 W Broadway (pink) replaced Liberty.
