South Huntington Ave Infill and Small Projects

Driving home on Jamaicaway and they had the road down to 1 lane in each direction to accommodate the numerous trucks queued up on the street with components of the crane for 105A South Huntington.

Also excited to see that other development slated for South Huntington. Looks nice, though I'll echo the sentiment that this site can probably take another 5-10 stories. E train absolutely needs transit signal priority turned on in the next 2 years...

How much retail space can we expect from serenity? Just leased an apt at olmsted and looking forward to this new development.

In case you don't want to click through, BRA approved Goddard House project, last night.

Also, in case you didn't want to click through, 35 South Huntington (a 38-unit infill development) was approved as well.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but the VA Hospital is being reclad. They've finally installed the new windows on one side (it's taken well over a year) and we'll soon see what the new cladding looks like. Maybe next time someone is in the area for 105 S Huntington they could get a pic?

Should be a good buzz on South Huntington Next summer.

The VA's new facade will be light blue. Slowest window/facade replacement project EVER.

Things look quite at Goddard House, may be a while before that project gets started.
