Looking pretty chunky from this angle.

Also, you can zoom in on the garage and see that they’re removing actual parking levels over Merrimac St. right now.

Somebody on Thursday please try to find out the actual height to the top of the higher fin (from the lowest point of the tower). Is the ticket through the phone, or is it printable?

They sent a confirmation email, and you check-in day of at the site.

A handful from this afternoon’s hard hat tour (and booze reception), including One Congress and Sudbury. Most of the pics I captured are of the views, which are incredible. This whole development is so exciting, and in the hands of a development team that has their shit together. Office tower is 50% leased by State Street, but sounds like they’re still shopping for a tenant for the rest of building, which is eyeing a Fall 2022-Spring 2023 completion.

I suspect that the oval shape of the building prohibits the use of the traditional self-climbing cocoons.

2 things.

1. There are so many projects going on, I almost forget how amazing this project is, how transformative it is for the area as well as its scale.
2. While there is often lament on the loss of the West End, etc., so few cities are building a raft of modern 400+, 500+ foot towers just steps from perfectly preserved 1800's neighborhoods, all built on streets dating back 400 years.

Kudos Beantown.
