The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

So, does anyone think there will still be a (T) meatball on the entry facade? There was originally supposed to be one in between "NORTH" and "STATION," but there isn't room on the sign that was put up. I wonder if TD paid "ours will be the only logo on the entry" money.

^ No way.

If you asked me when this broke ground, I would have said for sure there would be a big disruption between phases. I’m really happy to see it sailing through (dispite not liking the office facade).

This is such a GREAT project. Impressive VIP additions to the Garden, a smaller venue booked by Live Nation, a hip hotel, apartments with an upper level outdoor plaza looking south to the skyline (for sunset views outside), creative office space, restaurants, etc. It makes me think of L.A. Live and the Staples Center. Once done and thriving, I expect to see a new push for redevelopment at Madison Square Garden, which feels very dated. And when you want something a bit different? Take a quick (relatively) Uber to the new Encore Casino, or walk to the North End. I live and work in mid-town Manhattan now (entertainment biz), and am already planning my business and residence move at or around Hub on Causeway. And it's all so close to Logan. In L.A. and NYC, nightmarish commutes to the airports. Congrats, and here's to Boston becoming a much, much bigger entertainment draw in 2019...

I agree. I also love the overall look and feel of the project. It conveys excitement, night life and fun.

The Longfellow Place tower will improve the skyline view from Skyline Park in Arlington tremendously. The tower will rise directly beneath where the airplane's nose is located (you can see a white crane top way below), filling in the current gap perfectly.

Also, from here the forthcoming 2nd Garden tower (the Verizon tower) will extend the current skyline to the left a teeny bit more, while the Congress Towers will add two taller pinnacles between Longfellow Place and the Custom House.

Can't wait to see this view two summers from now!
