The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

They are forming the core for the residential tower. Some new steel popped up near the fiture pedestrian tunnel a week or so ago, but nothing really significant or photo worthy.

Where's this core you speak of? Very bottom left in the webcam? I cant really see it?

If you zoom out all the way on the webcam, you just can see a corner of it in the bottom left corner of the frame. They are actually pumping concrete into it right now. As of yesterday, they have only formed one level from the bottom. I saw it looking through one of the cutouts in the plywood wall of the temporary covered pedestrian access between the O'Neil building and the project site.

You captured a nice angle of the new developments before it's gone.

Wonderful Pics. Thank you for doing what so many of us are to lazy to do.

any chance the new direct subway entrance will be hooked up in an early/earlier phase of all this (like when the steel gets to, oh, the 3rd level?) rather than being done last?

BeeLine how do you get pictures within the fences? Do you just ask the construction workers?

Beeline isn't the type to sneak in/trespass on construction sites (seriously, don't do it) from what I can tell. I think he just found good vantage points thru the fence and used his zoom lens.

Data, as allways, you are correct. I do wait for the weekends on busy projects, so I can get closer to the site/fence. This is a case in point. On Sunday I was able to stand where the cement trucks normally off load during the week.

cca, I only talk to the hard hats if I have a question about the process they are using. They usually are very responsive and helpfull. Most are very proud of what they do and want to talk about it.

I even have some tower crane operators using my crane pics to explain, to friends and family, what they are "UP" to during the day.

The patience pays off. Great pix.

I'm also glad to hear that you practice good construction site safety in that you consciously stay away from the heavy machinery during working hours.
