The Boulevard (née The Times/Littlest Bar) | 110 Broad St | Downtown

Thanks guys. I agree with too bright, too yellow, and not enough detail (but/and pleased with the historical consistency, fwiw). Maybe they'll weather a bit.

Also I know it's a little trite, but I liked the flower boxes too.

Forget the shutters. Why must the adjoining wall look like the façade of the Lafayette Place parking garage with all the charm of a urinal cake?

Is it nice, sure. Does it look like the base of a tower that was never built, totally.

Wasn't there a similar building proposed for the parking lot next to this?

Meh. I'm glad to see more development along the RKG, but they really should have done more with the ground level here. It's facing some of the better Greenway parcels, this seems like a missed opportunity.

my feelings exactly prior to reading your post.

i guess many got that impression.

If the Littlest Bar is made into a little 2 story bar, that'll be okay.

Does anyone think it will (haha)??

^ I really hate the facade treatment of the bottom two floors and back side of this building. What a waste of otherwise decent design.

Agree. It's hard to understand what they were thinking. The palette fails more than the pattern. I expect ground level on the Greenway side will be largely masked by plantings, but the rest.....yech.

This brick, from up the road apiece, either upper or lower sections, would be much better than what was chosen here.

I really like the brick pattern here. ¯|_(ツ)_/¯

Just a shame the first floor program doesn't open up to the Greenway.
