The Clarendon immediately reminded me of a few very similar looking highrises in the Netherlands. Ironically, the Dutch versions have the same use- residential with amenities such as restaurants. In particular the similarity of the S-shaped, zigzagging brick pattern of The Clarendon and the Utrecht project City Campus Max (on which construction was completed a few months ago) stand out:

Does anybody know the difference between "One Back Bay" and "The Clarendon"?

I know the Clarendon is condos and 1BB is rentals - but is there an actual difference or just two brands within one building?

Two brands within one building. The 1BB entrance is on Clarendon and The Clarendon entrance is on Stuart.

IMO - this ^^ is backwards: theirs is an overbearing monstrosity; I can't find one redeeming quality about it. Ours just has some detail issues.
