The Clarendon is a stunning achievement. It looks like shit and I'm absolutely stunned.

The Clarendon immediately reminded me of a few very similar looking highrises in the Netherlands. Ironically, the Dutch versions have the same use- residential with amenities such as restaurants. In particular the similarity of the S-shaped, zigzagging brick pattern of The Clarendon and the Utrecht project City Campus Max (on which construction was completed a few months ago) stand out:

Makes me wonder if Ruhl Walker (the Clarendon's architect) was looking at these for inspiration.
Is that stone or precast?I like the stone and the crown lights nicely.
