Off-white snow plus red brick equals not very pretty. But still a great shot.
 
Historic Aerials appears to have expanded the 1938 imagery outward from Boston. You can now see the full length of the BRB&L into Lynn, Chelsea pre-conflageration, and numerous other things. Amazing! Everything looks so gritty and urban! *explodes*
 
Whoa, thanks for that heads-up. Now excuse me while I get lost for a while...

Dunno if anyone else noticed, but google updated their imagery. Great views of Charlesview, Assembly square, etc. If you have google earth its pretty awesome to move the time slider back and fourth and see the changes since the last update.
