I think the pace here has picked up to just over a floor a week. They're working on 9. It looks like 1 more floor jump and it will be passing the Burnham!

It DOES seem to be accelerating fast at this point! Does it mean that the complex is now entering the tower phase of construction now?

It kinda reminds me of the Trump Tower in Chicago - which was also built using mainly re-barred concrete!

Is this project making the T station look good?

In the bottom pic on the 2nd floor, a few of the exterior support columns look crooked. Why is that?!

:D That was covered earlier in this thread, but it's perfectly fine. It's transitioning the load from the columns above to the columns below. For whatever reason the columns on the first floor had to be spaced further back from the perimeter. Another example:

Glazing is now up on level 3 above the current glazing on level 2 on the corner of Franklin & Washington.

I saw a commenter on Curbed say that the Boston Common views of this tower sold out in the first two weeks of pre-sale. Does anyone know if this is accurate? If so, that's pretty incredible. Hasn't this already pre-sold something like 33% of its units?

today How the tower might look as it reach's it final height >

Found something pretty cool today, there is a up to date (september 2014) street view image from the corner of Hawley and Franklin.

And you can use the history feature to see all the way back to the old filene's

That's a great time machine to play with!

It's kind of too bad Handel couldn't have figured out a way to repurpose those two posts and the lintel with the Filenes on it circa July 2013 -- would have been ideal to use the old lintel as a sort of awning along Washington at the Podium as a transition from the Burnham to the Tower

best photo ^ yet of this project! the glass is going to be awesome!

I have a view of MT from near the Fed. It's looking great; I'm certainly looking forward to seeing some glass on "my" side! :)

I wish the glass in that picture reflected something better :-/
