This building puzzles me. I feel like no one cares about it. It's huge and fills a big void, but no one is excited about. It's just sort of there.

Perfect infill then no?

I am with you sm89. I've been excited about this building for a long time. It is (part of) a good connection between the North Station area, the North End Haymarket. If the street activation is anywhere near decent, this building will be a huge win for creating a more connected city.

I care about this building mostly cuz it's driving me crazy how long its taking to put the facade up. I mean what the hell?

Funnily enough, the last round of commentary on this puppy was resounding contempt and rage.

I agree, and if/when the Merano project is built, we'll have retail corridors on both Canal St. and Beverly St. that this project will be a part of. It's going to do a lot for helping to create and enhance this neighborhood, especially when you consider it in context with Gov. Center garage redev and North Station buildout

I was in Nome Alaska this last week, and this looks eerily similar to the buildings there.

Step away from the facade....it's really scary up close....At least it appears some kind of balconies will break it up.

if there was a r/shittyinfill on reddit, I'd say post there as well.

Oh there it is then!

IDK, I really like the scale and density for this parcel. The materials are the same as every other fucking thing, so I can't hate it for that. Thus, I give it an overall thumbs up.
