If anyone knows, what is the name and/or history of the "dollar sign" building near the JHT? I've always liked it.

kz, that is all the most inviting pictures I've ever seen of that little plaza between the Pru and Hynes, but those blank walls on the sides are killing me. I doubt anything could be done about them, but it would be nice.

It was originally called the Clarendon, now I think it's One Back Bay, or something.

There's apparently one in Union Square, Somerville too. They were commissioned to do three works.

so this sign has been since torn down but its gonna be nice when they finish.
They are finally going to re-hab this building that has sat empty for the past 12 or more years.

ha ha yep another blank slate.
I havent been bringing in my camera but will be bringing it in more now the weathers cooler.

Look for more photos from the area.
Lots of stuff going up.
Channel center there is a lot going on back there as well as 319A Street
and also 51 Melcher Development. Good Stuff.

Anyone know when they stopped lighting the "Landmark" Building ?
Found this gem in the archives and then walked past it last night it was not lit up.

(Hasn't been lit up for a while actually)

but Perhps it was just that 1 year it was lit.
