What the hell, they couldn't put a few decorative screens or fins on that damn garage?

Looks like phase one (retail + movie theater) will be opening in the next 2 weeks:

Any bets on if its a real IMAX or a LieMAX?

I didn't even know that we were getting a movie theater here until today when my sister sent me this link. Thats great news and hopefully its not too sheisty here. I haven't went over to check out whats been going on back here in a while because its not very visible from south bay center especially at night but Ill have to go see.

Yeah - the theater is the one thing I am actually looking forward to in this, I hope it turns out well (and I will just assume LieMAX). It would be oh so nice to not have to journey 20-30+ minutes in the car to get to a decent movie theater.

Coincidentally, Target Corp bought its building today according to the Registry. $12.25 million. Nice return on original developer's investment, I'd guess.

Ive seen this driving by this but haven't seen it up yet, but looks pretty cool.

I think it looks alright in the render, but it doesn't look like that in real life at all from what I've seen. For a strip mall I think thats "cool" vs 99.9% of what they look like normally. Except in this case it doesn't seem to match up and reach this arbitrary opinion anyways.

I'm looking real hard trying to find the "cool" in that.

It looks like a fancy CVS.

Well the render, with its lighting effects, definitely looks "cooler" and higher quality than what was actually built, imo.
