Would we welcome flecks of brown or tan in the shorter residential tower? I'm trying to envision it

I'm sure this has been litigated and re-litigated already, but why does the second res tower look like such an afterthought? Especially compared to the first two, it looks like something went very awry there.
I've never actually seen design documents for the second residential tower (or at least I haven't in a very long time). The Sudbury and One Congress were both presented to the BPDA in separate design reviews. It's possible that's largely a placeholder.

Has anyone seen Haymarket headhouse designs floating around? I would presume that's pretty far along if the garage demo is happening this summer...

I love it. Think its the perfect compliment to the Sudbury. The way this project uses different sized buildings gives it such great density compared to say, the Alcott, which doesnt add much to the west end standing on its own.

I think the cladding to the right will end up being the dominant cladding on this tower. You can see the vertical accents compared to the rest of the glass.

I flew into Boston this week for the first time in like forever and was completely blown away by how this thing looks from the air. Entire Bulfinch triangle looks awesome - i remember working on a project in Boston pre GFC and hearing talk about how the triangle would be the "next neighborhood" in Boston and thinking it was crazy, amazing to see what 15 years did to the neighborhood. Keep looking awesome Boston.
