Are they going all the way down to the deck of the roadway below or are those footings buried with the road deck?

Correct me if Im wrong but I think I remember hearing that all of the footings were pre-built along with the tunnel ready to go for when future developments came to fruition.

Correct, just like the Victor and One Canal sites. As you can see very large I beams have arrived and are being installed onto these footings.

They also had to hold up the older artery and all its traffic for a decade or whatever while the tunnel was under construction (which helps the all-in economics of these 'air rights' parcels a LOT.)

If you include the 2 at Assembly Row and the 4 in Cambridge I get a total of 19 tower cranes at the moment.
