Talk about your precast yuck, this stuff makes the Victor's siding look fantastic.
I'm thinking they are trying to bring back the combat zone.

I'm disappointed with the ground-level siding too. It's actually 2 different textures of concrete but both are the same color and the textures are very close in roughness, so that from a distance it just looks blah....I don't care about the garage down the street since in faces the strip clubs and will eventually face what I presume to be the service entrance to the development behind Jake Wirth's if they ever build it.

^^^ Ha! I walked by that yesterday on my way from Shinjuku Station to the SquareEnix HQ for a meeting. It's actually a pleasant building in person; the street level is all cafes and retail opening directly to the sidewalk, and the solid concrete curves contrast nicely with the neighboring buildings' glass.
