Make some private developer filthy rich without actually putting something amazing for the public on prime real-estate in the city with our money?

. But market forces are market forces. Rich people have purchasing power to buy high end condos with great views. Back room deal or not, something similar would have been built here regardless of developer.
Who the hell is going to go out of there way to take stroll around here--for what?
The day it opens, I am going to walk 3 blocks to my local T station (Maverick), take it inbound 1 stop to Aquarium, and then go for a 10-minute stroll to Fan Pier Park... for leisure. I will take a selfie at Fan Pier Park and share it on this site. I invite you and all other forum members to join me.
I can tell you I will never check this area out-
